Souphouse stuff

The last remnants of the International Souphouse have been moved outside. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the couches and lamps showed up in Upland's annual labor day sale!

Please, a rest?

Or some time to think. I've been so busy with a wedding, an organic farm (and getting to show my family around!), my graduation and of course, my two beautiful nieces, that life seems like a whirlwind now. I've been having a hard time processing what is going on and has happened because I feel like I've been going going since I started working on my senior paper. I think I need a few days to just sit and think.

In other news, the International Souphouse is officially closed for business. The Kees and the Greenmans have been closing shop. It's sad seeing where all of the furniture used to be and think of all of the fun times that we had here. It's a weird feeling, because it's the people that make the Souphouse, not the couches. The empty spaces serve as a reminder that things as we know it have ended and it's time to explore our futures.

I wanted to write "I'm not done yet" on the top of my graduation cap. All right, I'm done now. Let's move on and get started.

El Gato en el Arbol

Have you ever felt like this cat? I think this reflects me quite well right now. He says: "I got into this REALLY high tree and now I can't get down! Help! Help me!"

"Don't zoom out from the comic strip because you ruin the dramatic effect!"

Nationalism within the Russian Orthodox Church 2

I thought this photo was very fitting for my senior paper topic.
