Ha, second post today! I should be working on U.S. History and Regional Geography (almost done!)...but I might as well tell you about my money problem. See, I had to reset my password to log into my Michigan bank account in Kalamazoo, Michigan (where I used to live before transferring to where I am now). I logged in...and lone and behold my checking account said $0 balance. I'm poor, but I did remember having some money set aside for needy occasions. Ah, apparently someone in New York had been taking out my money from both my checking and savings account (I have overdraft protection). I immediately called my bank and filled for robbery....or whatever you call it. They were nice about it...I didn't have to "prove" that I was in Indiana this whole time. They said that they were going to return the money that was stolen (with a fake debit card?)...I wonder when that will be? I'm sure some of you are wondering how much was taken out....er......over $700? Yea....it sucks.
Something positive did happen to me yesterday. I've been collecting books lately and selling them on Amazon.com. Most of them were left overs that I found in the basement of the Soup House and others I just found by looking in the dorms after everyone had left. I collected all the 'Foundation of Christian Thought' books and took them to the bookstore (about 13 of them). To my joy and surprise they agreed to buy them from me even though some of them were pretty old and torn. Ha. I walked out with $53 in my pocket. :) Thank you to whoever went through the trouble of actually collecting those books and leaving them all in the basement (I've also made over $150 by selling books on Amazon) for me!

Oh my word!! Identity theft really sucks. I'm sorry it happened to you, but I'm glad that the bank is helping you out!!
Yep...I was a victim a couple months ago. Good thing it was a small loss that was refunded. I think it's great that you were able to sell the books you found and the others on Amazon. Way to make some money. :)
